About Calvary Chapel Kathmandu
Every Saturday (Nepali church day) at 10:30am and Wednesday at 6pm, we come together for a time of worship, Bible study, and fellowship at the Calvary Chapel Kathmandu / CCBC Nepal campus.
Our desire for this church is to encourage each believer that comes to grow in the Lord through studying verse-by-verse through the Bible.
All services are bilingual - taught in Nepali and translated into English through headphones.

History
Before this was Calvary Chapel Kathmandu, it was a small bible study designed to help encourage and build up the members of the Salvation Worship Ministries. A group of around 10 people would meet every Saturday evening to worship, pray, and study the bible together. This fellowship soon began to grow and it came to a point that they could no longer fit into the room they were meeting in.
Pastor Pankaj began to pray that the Lord would provide funds to either rent a new facility or build a larger sanctuary in the current location they were meeting in.
In 2014, the Lord prompted Pastor Pankaj to take a step of faith and turn the weekly bible study into a church. It was around the same time that a church from America donated funds for the construction of a new building. Construction on the new sanctuary began in October 2014 and on March 14, 2015, we opened the doors to our new sanctuary for the first time!
Here is a short video of the construction process and grand opening ceremony:
